At MapaSayo, we believe that your travel history, bucket lists, and personal milestones are your business, not ours. Our app is designed to be Local-First, meaning your data stays exactly where it belongs: on your device.
We do not collect any personal identification information (PII). Any data you enter into the app — such as provinces visited, bucket list dates, or ratings — is saved into a local database on your smartphone.
Because your data is stored locally, its security depends on the security of your device. We do not have a "backdoor" or a way to recover your data if you delete the app or lose your phone, as we never possessed that data to begin with.
MapaSayo may use standard system libraries (like Google Maps or OpenStreetMap tiles) to display geographic information. These services may collect non-identifiable technical data as part of their standard operation, but MapaSayo does not share your specific travel markers with them.
